Caring for Each Other

In July 2025, MCVMA and the Association for Asian Veterinary Medical Professionals (AAVMP) hosted the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project for a Know-Your-Rights webinar titled “Caring for Each Other: What to do if ICE comes to your vet clinic.”  This event was MCVMA’s most highly attended webinar to date, with participants eager to learn how to interact with federal immigration enforcement, exercise their rights, and prepare their practices, colleagues, clients, and community members for the possibility of being suddenly separated from their beloved pets and community. Due to the dynamic nature of the situation, this webinar was not recorded. MCVMA looks forward to providing more topical and practical resources to its members in the future.
